With that being said I knew I had to re-read it so that I could make let it be known that this is a good book and that I'll be supporting this author by purchasing her work in the future.I was able to finish this in a day. As a young African American female, the book has many topics that are relatable, the ups downs of friendships and relationships, being independent, holding onto something that you know just isn't for you anymore, and finding love where you least expect it. I look forward to part II to see what happens next with the trio and the men in their lives! I read the first book and had no intention on purchasing the second one, but I had to know what happened after Co got shot. So the author did keep me engaged. I could not put the book down. The men in this book made me angry, They did have issues, meaning that they could not stop lying, and they were easily tempted. I didn't like the way it ended, without giving to much away, but who gets shot in his kind of story and let's it slide, I expected some shoot"um up bang bang. or revenge, at times the females were rougher than the guys, and more vicious.
